Environmental Quality Board

The Environmental Quality Board is made up of 9 agency heads and 8 citizen members. In addition to other duties, we provide leadership and coordination across agencies on priority environmental issues that are multi-jurisdictional, and multi-dimensional, as well as provide for opportunities for public access and engagement.

In 2018, EQB adopted a 5-year strategic plan to provide a broad framework for guiding the board's action and decision-making over the next 5 years.


September 18th, 2019 Board Meeting

The September 18, 2019 EQB meeting will address four decision items and one informational item:

1) Decision: Environmental Quality Board's FY 2020-21 Work Plan

2) Decision: Rulemaking to adopt amendments of environmental review rules

3) Decision: Authorize State Environmental Review Program Subcommittee

4) Decision: Responsible Government Unit re-designation for the Fillmore Solar Project
