    Silica Sand Program

    We maintain a library of local government ordinances and permits that have been approved for the regulation of silica sand projects. The library includes two types of documents, excerpts of larger zoning ordinances and permits, approvals, or denials of specific projects.

Environmental Quality Board

The Environmental Quality Board is made up of 9 agency heads and 8 citizen members. In addition to other duties, we provide leadership and coordination across agencies on priority environmental issues that are multi-jurisdictional, and multi-dimensional, as well as provide for opportunities for public access and engagement.

The September 19, 2018 EQB meeting will address two decision items:

1) EQB Strategic Plan

2) Mandatory Categories Rules

 

Location Instructions:

This month’s meeting will take place in the Ramsey County Library in Maplewood. The meeting location has changed from our traditional MPCA Board Room meeting location due to ongoing construction.

The Maplewood Library Parking Lot is for all day visitors and is located adjacent to the library.
