The Governor’s Task Force on Wild Rice is a nonpartisan group of experts and key stakeholders who are committed to finding a compromise solution to wild rice restoration and protection in Minnesota. The Task Force, appointed by Governor Dayton, is comprised of representatives from Tribal Nations, industry, environmental advocacy groups, scientists, state government agencies, and other stakeholders.

Meeting locations and discussion topics are subject to change until ten days before the scheduled meetings. Please check back often for the most up to date information.

All Task Force meetings are open to the public. Public comment will be taken at every meeting. At the first meeting on Sept 27, public comment will limited to written comments only.
