There has been growing interest among cities for information and guidance on electric vehicles and necessary charging infrastructure, both for city use and how to plan for the increasing demand for public charging. Cities play a key role in the build-out of charging infrastructure in their communities. In response to this, Great Plains Institute staff have developed a set of five principles that relate to policy, regulation, administration, programs, and leadership. There are also 11 GreenStep Cities Best Practices related to electric vehicles, located here.

Join us to learn more about how your city can become "EV ready," hear from cities working on some of the Best Practices, and get more resources to move forward. We are also interested in working with and providing technical assistance to a cohort of cities to learn together. You will find out more about this opportunity at the workshop.
