Amending the Environmental Review program rules – phase 1

The various documents associated with the EQB’s project to amend 36 provisions of the Environmental Review program are listed on this page. These documents include the text of the amendments, as proposed for hearing and for adoption, after modifications; the Statement of Need and Reasonableness (SONAR) explaining the amendments and their rationale; and various procedural documents. These amendments were adopted by the EQB on June 15th, 2006, and are effective as of October 30, 2006. A new rulemaking project, Amending the Environmental Review program rules – Phase 2, was authorized by the EQB in June 2006. This rule amendment project is an outgrowth of the EQB Study of Environmental Review .
