The July 19 EQB meeting will address state and local action on climate change and sustainability. The United States has officially announced its intention to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement. As a result, Minnesotans now look to state and local governments for leadership on mitigating and adapting to a changing climate. On June 5, Governor Mark Dayton signed on to the US Climate Alliance and affirmed that Minnesota will continue to move forward with actions to meet greenhouse gas reduction goals. What does this mean for our state? What is Minnesota already working on, and where do we go from here?
