ALJ Report: Report from an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) on a proposed project.
Administration Milestone: Terminal element that marks the completion of a work package or phase, typically marked by a high level event such as completion, endorsement or signing of a deliverable
Administrative rule: A general statement adopted by an agency to make the law it enforces or administers more specific or to govern the agency's organization or procedure.
Affidavit: A written declaration made under oath; a written statement sworn to be true before someone legally authorized to administer an oath
Agency report: A written document describing the findings of some individual or group. Used for documents created by the local organziation, as opposed to a "Publication" for reports created by other entities.
Application: Formal request to initiate project made by regulated entity
Archive box: Collection of paper documents being stored according to records management standards.
Bibliography: A selected list of resources. Commonly used as an embeded list on a page managed by a staffer. Bibliographies should have a description which describes criteria for selection on the list.
Certificate of Need: Declaration that an energy facility is needed, pursuant to Minn. Stat. 216B.243, a
Certificate of mailing: Legal certificate stating that a required mailing was performed. Should contain date and all recipients
Citation: A formal reference to a bibliographic work.
Comments and Recommendations: Comments and recommendations to the PUC regarding the permitting of energy facilities.
Compliance Filing: Information remitted (filed) to demonstrate compliance with a permit.
Correspondence: A letter, email, or other formal communciation between two individuals or entities.
Database: Digital collection of data, either web or desktop based.
Dataset: Static collection of data (as opposed to a database which can be queried). Examples include CSV, excel, and lotus files.
Draft Permit: A draft permit, typically issued for public review and comment.
EQB resolution: a formal expression by a meeting; agreed to by a vote
Environmental Assessment: Provides information about and analysis of the potential human, environmental and economic impacts of the proposed project. Completed based on the EAW.
Environmental Assessment Worksheet: A document providing basic information about a project that may have the potential for significant environmental impact. Completed by the project proposer.
Environmental Impact Statement: Formal document recording the expected impact of a proposed project.
Environmental Report: A document analyzing the human and environmental impacts of a proposed project and project alternatives.
Event: Describes an event in time. These items should also be put on the various calendars.
Finding of Fact: The findings of a deliberative body on issues of fact submitted to it for decision
Form: Online or print form to gather information.
Guidance document: Instructional document or guide for assist public in understanding a process
Hearing: Proceeding before a court or other decisionmaking body or officer
Informational Bulletin: Newsletter, project progress notice, or other regular or semi regular publication in a series
Link to outside web resource: Pointer to a web resource found on a website not affiliated with the local organization
Mailing List: A collection of names / email addresses / or street addresses which should receive notice on a particular topic.
Map: A cartographic / spatial product
Media release: An announcement sent to the press.
Meeting agenda: Proposed list of topics of issues which will be addressed at a meeting.
Meeting minutes: Records of the proceedings of a meeting.
Order: Published decision or action by a court or other decision-making body.
Packet: Collection of documents which are intended to be distributed together.
Permit document: A draft or final permit granted by a government entity giving the rights to pursue a project
Presentation: Powerpoint presentations, audio recordings and other information products given to groups at meetings, conferences and such
Program: Work group devoted to an area or topic. Use this resource type for committees, teams, and other groupings of individuals. Content for programs is found within projects, which are linked together using the "relation" field.
Project: Projects are action areas of programs. Projects have resources associated with them
Project docket: Case management record for a proceeding. Can contain multiple links to individual project documents.
Public comment: A formally received opinion or statement received as part of a public proceeding.
Public notice: Formal anouncement to the general public of a deadline, new product, or availability of a service. Use Media Release type if announcement is being made directly to the press.
Publication of outside organization: These resources are reports, books, and other monographs created by entities not directly related to this web site
Resource list- dynamic: A list of other resources generated by a stored search. The resource record stores the search statement as its content.
Resource list- manual: A collection of other resources which are manually compiled and ordered by a user. Items are added to the list using the relate function
Scan: A brief summary or abstract of a topical issue, based on one or more citations.
Scoping Decision: A decision that delineates and describes the content of a to-be-developed environmental review document.
Series: A top level description of a regularly occuring document series (e.g. a serial, newsletter...) for which individual instances of the series are cataloged seperatly. Creating a series allows for the sub documents (i.e. instances of the series) to be grouped online in a common directory
Service: Work are performed by one person or group that benefits another client. Can be fee based or free.
Software: Stand alone computer programs
Speech: Transcription, recording, or record of a formal spoken communication to an audience. Use Presentation if describing a powerpoint presentation.
Statement of need and reasonableness: Summarizes the evidence and argument to justify the need for and reasonableness of any proposed administrative rule. It is always prepared by the staff of the administrative agency trying to adopt the rules in question.
Web Page: A free form document which does not conform to any of the other more structured document types
Working document: General documents used by a work group to fulfill its mission. Time lines, member lists, and mission statements are examples.
